Swee'Pea plays MLS Soccer with Popeye

Classic cartoon. Great comeback win (single-handedly) by a young Popeye over a team headed by Bluto (minus his facial hair). The clincher:Baby Swee'Pea eats his spinach and boots Popeye like an MLS Soccer goalkeeper (before there was a Major League Soccer). I love Mae Questel's singing voice of Swee'Pea at the end of that one. Wow! Some kick!

The Football Toucher Downer

Great Popeye cartoon that shows Popeye and Bluto playing football as kids. No, Bluto does not have his beard and mustache in this one. This film has a priceless ending where Fleischer's usually mute Swee'Pea sings the Popeye song at the end! (All color copies should be destroyed on sight).
