A rip-roaring Western comedy/romance with lots of love and laughter. Ms. Oyl isn't at her most glamorous but she's cute as she cheers for handsome cowboy Badlands Bluto. Thought the scene with the loco weed was a riot, and the flirtation between Olive and Badlands Bluto (as well as Bluto's looks) was kind of reminiscent of the scenes in the movie OKLAHOMA! depicting flirtation between pretty Laurie Williams (the lovely Shirley Jones)and handsome cowboy Curly McLain (Gordon --sigh! -- MacRae at his most gorgeous), which is odd, because RODEO ROMEO was made 11 years before Gorgeous Gordon would don his boots and Stetson as Curly. Still, if any Tom, Dick, or Gordon asked me what I would give this appealing little minimovie, I'd tell them 4 spinach cans
