Time to cover my first Smurf segment in this series, and it's going to be the Magnifying Mixture
This short episode as a whole triggers memory of Brainy making the titular mixture, but not really all that much memory. In truth considering just how many smurf shorts there were, me not being able to recall every one too well isn't all that shocking.
The story of this short finds Brainy trying to smurf up a concoction that ends up getting on Hefty Smurf causing him to grow into a huge sized smurf. After being more trouble than is worth, Heft goes to capture Gargamel, who uses the opportunity to get a ride to the smurf village where Papa Smurf is going to have to try to fix things.
Our smurf characters stay themselves in this short. Brainy Smurf is pretty good in his reactions as to expected. Hefty being all gung-ho and ready to capture Gargamel is a pretty awesome scene. Gargamel and Azrael are truly hilarious in this short. When Gargamel is relaxing as all get out inside the sack while being delivered the smurf village it's hilarious. Azreal freaks out at first but then joins him as the two share an evil laugh. Really great moment for them. The rest of the smurfs prove to be their usual selfs
TO be able to rewatch this episode is a pleasure. It's still funny each and every time and has some great funny moments. No complaints on this one from me.
If i have to bestow a rating on this episode I give it 10/10 A
