What A Clumsy Turkey!

If not for the interesting cameo of the rival charioteer, Ben Him, I wouldn't have bothered reviewing this one.
Ben only speaks once and the voice is the stock cartoon voice, similar to animated sixties fathers and Rangers everywhere.
Yet the episode jerks during the race. There is a mishap and Gus, Hap and the crooks (don't ask) are hurled through the air.
The crooks land in the sanitation chariot, which then crashes, getting them out of the way.
Gus lands in Tycoonius' entry. Note that Tycoonius is now the dictatorial boss and intimidator to Gus and not Mr. Evictus, who was voiced by Dom DeLuise.
And where does Hap go? He lands safe and sound in the bleachers next to Mom and Precocia. Why doesn't Hap get a laugh? Land in a hole, get caught on a pole or something? This is supposed to be a cartoon show, for crying out loud.
But once again, Gus Holiday, like Fred & Barney, has to be the butt of all jokes.
Fantastic to listen to Mr. Tycoonius laugh at the end of the episode tho. It was the unmistakable green phantom ghouls from Scooby Doo "A Night of Fright is No Delight", with the lawyers Creeps and Crawls.
The moment with Hap really tarnished this odd cartoon. But then something always does with the Roman Holidays.
