Comically, Laughably, Absurdly Weird!
Gus has a bowling match on the same night that his daughter, Precocia, has a drum recital.
Typical muddled rejected Flintstones plot, right? To see it done on this Flintstones-wannabee show, it is downright awful.
There is no fun music to listen to like there would be on the Jetsons or Flintstones. Whoever did Precocia's drum playing sounds as if they were asleep.
Everyone from Percocia to Mr. Tycoonius just gets their needle stuck in the groove, constantly replying "but Daddy, I'll be disappointed if you're not there" or "If you don't show up, Holiday, you're fired."
If Gus had been a real person, he would have developed an ulcer worrying the way he did here.
So in the end, what nifty plot do we have for doing both events? He runs back and forth from one to the other. Talk about rehashed!
Then we get the landlord running back and forth after him, implying Gus wants to skip out on paying for the drumming damages to the apartment. But Mr. Evictus wasn't the one doing the running, it was the guys carrying him.
And of course, when Precocia gets applause for her drum solo, she must thank her father. Will he be there or not when the spotlight is trained on his seat?
Even the "happily Ever After" was muddled, as Gus shows up with prizes for everyone. For what? Did he get a reward for the bowling competition?
As of yet, this show has no redeeming episodes.
