After downloading this wonderful 'experience' from Movie Central in the middle of the night, last night, I am still on cloud nine and have watched it twice since.
As if featuring the voices, amongst others, of Liam Neeson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Carrie Fisher, E.E. Cummings, was not enough, the articulate comments and readings of children, painfully beautiful in their genuine love of poetry and apparent wisdom,raise my hopes for the future. Our humanity is alive and well, in children such as these, in their genuine, passionate love of poetry and its ability to transport us , in our imagination and in our hearts, to places we might otherwise, spend not enough time.
Add to this, a variety of animation styles, perfectly befitting each poem and I would call it a 10.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
