Bearing the unmistakable FRank WElker voice for the Toyman, WElker also did Freddie on Scooby Doo and Marvin on the first Superfriends cartoons to name a scant few, Mxyptlk sent Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman all to the magical land of oz, where they would be transformed into the Oz characters themselves.
Super Tin Woodsman, Wonder Cowardly Lion and Aqua Scarecrow. What a sight they were too.
Each would then have to alter some aspect of their costumes to defeat a threat; Superman had to change his tin costume to lead, Wonder Woman had to electrically charger her lasso and Aquaman had to make his straw water proof, then these new ingredients would be used for Mxytplk's ultimate plan!
The most fun definitely was had in Mxyptlk being a warthog sitting at the monitor when Wonder Woman escaped from the dangerous boars, and his gobbling laugh when talking to the screen about the Super turkey.
He was vicious, this one was.
The solution was a bit trite, but then it was a cartoon.
Still a winner and has always been a somewhat fave of mine.
