Spectacular Songs!

My favorites are, in order, "Bells of Notre Dame", "Hellfire", and "God Help the Outcasts". Way to go Disney-oh!

Disney done it again!

Disney brings the heroic story of Notre Dames mysterious, lonely but gentle bell ringer named Quasimode, to spectacular life, Disney style!

Quasimode leaves the safety of the bell tower, at the urging of his gargoyle friends, Victor, Hugo and Laverne to venture out and find the lovely gypsy Esmeralda and finds that she's being pursuited by the handsome Captain of the guard Phoebus and the evil Frollo!

Quasimode give the beautyful Esmeralda sanguinary in the bell towers of Notre Dame and vows to help her save her people and the city from Follo's evil plans.

It's a joy to hear and a wonder to watch another Disney Classic.

Another thumbs up for this classic inspired by the classic novel by Victor Hugo!

Too much, too bad

This effort continued the trend in Disney movies towards musicals, and, I feel, suffered for it. The visuals were excellent and the characters were very well designed. But the music definately got in the way, ranging from pretty good to quite bad. Also I was quite disappointed when Quasimodo didn't get the girl. This one did fine at the box office, but it just didn't work for me.
