Out Of Luck Duck (1961) - Yakky Doodle Cartoon Episode Guide

Here is my chance to cover the first Yakky Doodle segment, here we go folks.

As a memory puzzle, nothing really more to remember on this short other than it's when Yakky met Chopper. That's pretty memorable in it's own right.

This short marks poor Yakky losing his way and meeting Chopper, who at first wants nothing to do with him. When the House Cat shows up he tries to make Yakky his dinner and typical Yakky hijinks begin

With the characters, Yakky proves to be his usually funny but sometimes not duck-self. Chopper really does start off as a little mean but warms up into the sweet protector dog that we know and love. The cat character who i have decided to name House Cat, is really in a lot of ways just a prototype Fibber Fox who just isn't as entertaining of an adversary.

While i said House Cat isn't the better adversary but he's still awesome and provides a good show for the short. It's a funny short with lots of rewatchability. It's fun to re-see what kind of trouble Yakky needs to be saved from. It's a fun effort

If i have to bestow a rating on this episode I give it a 8/10 B
