Time to cover a pretty memorable short, Oinks and Boinks, where Yogi met the three little pigs.
As i said in the opening sentence, this episode is fondly remembered by me as a very funny one. One of most fully remembered segments featuring the picnic mooching bear in fact.
In this short, Yogi and Boo-Boo find themselves lost and run into the three little pigs. The straw pig decides to move in with the stick pig, so they give the straw house to our two hero bears. However the wolf comes along as is very confused and blows the house down. Yogi and Boo Boo continue searching and find the stick house, the scene plays out again. Until they return home and find the pigs have taken over their cave and the wolf is disgruntled the pigs didn't even build the brick house. When he shows up at the cave, Yogi let's him fix up the story a little bit to get rid of them
With our characters in this short, Yogi and Boo Boo are a top notch duo like always. The pigs in general aren't very fleshed out. The wolf in this is quite hilarious. Showing wonderful Daws Butler vocals, he is quite a memorable miner character for the HB library.
When it comes to rewatching this episode, this one never gets old no matter how many times i watch it. Still a great Yogi short even if he shares a bit of the spotlight with this one-shot wolf and three pigs versions. It's just a good HB fairytale mash up that delivers the jokes with a huff and a puff every time
If i have to bestow a rating on this episode i give it 10/10 A
