Rare Bear Bungle

Convoluted, Tripping Up, Assumptive Plot
One gets the impression this could have been an amusing and entertaining episode, but the needle got out of the groove a bit.
A rare bear is sent to live with the bears. Hair thinks the bear is a spy to see all their gadgetry in their cave, so he sends Rare Bear into town to get lost and "see the sights" as Hair puts it.
Turns out the rare bear is valuable. Now the bears must get him back and have Bananas disguise himself as the rare bear.
During the shower, the costume shrinks and Bananas is revealed.
Now this is when things go awry.
Peevley and Botch just know Hair has done something to the Rare bear, not sure what they think exactly.
They catch up with the bears who had followed Rare into the Magnus Store. Once back outside, Rare Bear is seen getting on the bus.
The bears are covered in cement trying to get away from Peevley and catch the bus.
Now they are going to the north woods, Peevley declares.
but of course, back at the zoo, the superintendent has found Rare Bear, back at the zoo (the bus dropped him off) and Rare says the bears were very kind to him.
If Peevley tells what the bears did that was wrong (?) then the superintendent will learn Rare Bear was lost.
Hair covers why the bears are in cement by saying Peevley is going to raise a statue to them because he loves them so much.
Conclusion: Peevley and Botch are pampering and taking care of the bears. Peevley isn't happy.
It seems that had attempts to get rid of Rare Bear and he kept showing back up would have made a better plot than this one.
This one missed. In recapping, there was no plot just grand assumptions. To put Peevley down by the end could have happened just as easily, if that was the intention of the story.
And the invisible motorcycle has never been fun. Wasn't 32 years ago, and it still isn't.
Funny bit when Hair and the guys race to the invisible motorcycle. How did they find it?
