Hanna-Barbera Happy Hour

I was most impressed by Honey(the blonde) and Sis (the red head) so lifelike and the effect was great chroma-key. I believe it took six puppeteers to operate them. Fun show so sad it had to go.

I great show for its time

I remember the Hanna Barbera Happy Hour starring Honey & Sis, was a delightful journey into the times, set up for kids. The whitty opening conversations between the puppet sister, the life is a disco segments - a very fun yet insightful look at the times.

I remember feeling quite let down by NBC when with no warning the program wascancelled with no warning.

The Hanna-Barbera Happy Hour

By
I was 8 years old when "The Hanna-Barbera Happy Hour" was on TV (I looked up the year it was on.) Since that was 23 years ago I really only remember flashes of it, but I remember Honey and Sis had me mezmerized. I know I watched it faithfully the very short time it was on. When the week came that I turned it on and it wasn't there, I was sad and confused. Now that I think about it I remember my brother and I laying in front of the TV waiting for it to start. AND, I now remember tuning into it the next week just in case it was only off for that one week. But sadly, I never saw it again. Wow, the stuff you can come up with when you really start digging into your memory banks is amazing. Anyway, I'd love to see it again for old time sake. I wonder what my adult perspective would be.
