A funny look at child rearing.
I first saw this cartoon on
"Cartoon Playtime!"on WNEW TV
Ch.5 in NYC back in the late
1950's.
And I enjoyed it.
It's a wonderful spoof on the "Old King
Cole"and"Old Lady Who Lived In A Shoe"
Nursery rhymes.
The funniest part of the film..
is when his majesty is trying to
get the kids bathed,dried off,
powdered,diapered and into
bed via a mechanical set up.
This is one movie cartoon that
can give Mr.Disney a run for his
monies.
4CK.

Films like this one proved Freleng had natural gifts for directing quality comedy cartoons, BEFORE Tex Avery appeared. Hilarious, inventive, and a very well-shaped cartoon to boot.

FATHERHOOD TURNED UPSIDE DOWN!
This is a hillarious classic! Old King Cole marries the Woman In The Shoe! Now he's a father to alot of children! Running the conveyor belt sequence, was too funny for words! The real sidesplitter is when two of the children, rock the cradles wildly throwing the children everywhere! A classic comedy of wits and brawn!
